These TV Shows Take Place All Over The United States But Weren’t Exactly Filmed in the Plot’s City

Wayward Pines-Idaho: The small town setting is the perfect place to solve a mystery

Premiering in 2015 and running until 2018, “Wayward Pines” had notable ratings and viewer approval. However, it was canceled after only two seasons. The mystery science fiction series is set in Wayward Pines, a small fictional town in Idaho. However, the series was primarily shot in British Columbia.

The series is a collection of the trilogy by author Crouch; “Pines” published in 2012, “Wayward” in 2013, and “The Last Town” in 2014. The series doesn’t mention the town in Idaho, but the scenery has a feel of the state. The entire first season covered all three books encompassing a total of 10 episodes, but more was coined out due to the request of viewers. The coastal seas and mountains perfectly encapsulated the small-town feel in the North West of the US.
