These TV Shows Take Place All Over The United States But Weren’t Exactly Filmed in the Plot’s City

The Office-Scranton, Pennsylvania: This Pennsylvania paper supplier’s headquarters is recognized worldwide

“The Office” was primarily filmed and set in Scranton, Pennsylvania. However, most of the scenes took place in Studio City in Los Angeles. The Dunder Mifflin Building featured in season one was located in Culver City. Also, in season 2, during Michael’s birthday, Pam and Jim went to Rite Aid to get some items for Kevin since he thought he could develop skin cancer.

However, the store in this season is a real-life one located on Woodman Ave in Pan Nuys, North Hollywood. At Michael’s birthday party, the office staff went ice skating. The building here is a real-life one, and it is located on W. Riverside Drive in Burbank. The restaurant scenes located on Sherman Way in North Hollywood are other real-life locations.
