True Blood-Louisiana: Vampires are everywhere
The American fantasy horror mystery drama was filmed in California and Louisiana. The series was about a telepathic waitress who lived in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. “True Blood” filming also took place in different locations, such as Warner Bros Burbank Studios and Hollywood Center Studios. In season 1, Episode 5, a vampire nest was burned – this scene was shot in Louisiana. There was also Bill Compton’s House – an existing plantation in the movie, and the sets took place in California for the interiors.
However, the exterior of Bill Compton’s House was originally shot in Roseneath Plantation in Louisiana. Bill requested that Sookie marry him in season 2, episode 12, in a French restaurant. The filming took place in The Stockade Bed and Breakfast in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Other real-life locations are in southern California and Los Angeles. Sun Church scenes, Merlotte’s Bar and Grill, and others took place in Southern California.
