Smallville-Kansas: Superman’s hometown is also the location of Queer Eye season 4
Yet another one of the great interpretations of Superman, “Smallville” was told the story of the man learning about his powers. It was originally shot in Vancouver, British Colombia, but the show’s storyline revolves around the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas.
Real-life city locations were not used, but several stores and sites were used as substitutes for spots in Kansas. A lot of the country-like lifestyle of Kansas was portrayed in the series. None of the cast resides in Kansas, but it is a popular location for other shows to be filmed like “Queer Eye” and “Bargain Mansions.”
