These TV Shows Take Place All Over The United States But Weren’t Exactly Filmed in the Plot’s City

American Pickers-Iowa: This show checks off almost every state on your cross-country road trip bucket list

The show was shot at different locations around the U.S, including California, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Besides that, it was filmed at other locations such as Derby, Connecticut, and Wiscasset, Maine. Arkansas was among the major filming location, especially around Bentonville.

Stars of the reality show Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz travel from their home base in Iowa all across the nation, searching for antiques, artifacts, and rare national treasures. They scour people’s homes, barns, and sheds in South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Kansas, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, South and North Dakota, and Ohio. Oregon was also a major spot-like area around Colorado, Nevada, New Jersey, Arizona, and Washington. The show portrays the American interest in collecting valuable items and preserving history.
