These TV Shows Take Place All Over The United States But Weren’t Exactly Filmed in the Plot’s City

P-Valley-Mississippi: These Mississippi strippers are not background dancers

“P-Valley” is based on Playwright Katori Hall’s play “Pussy Valley” and shows the lives of strip club dancers. The series is based on fiction, but fans could not stop watching it. Based on semi-rural American life, Mississippi was significant in its shooting. Technically, P-Valley is not real. However, the show’s filming is in the South, not Chucalissa. Atlanta, Georgia, was where Starz Series was filmed differently from what fans thought to have been the Mississippian town.

It would be surprising that both seasons 1 and 2 were shot in Georgia’s most populous city Atlanta. Several indoor and outdoor locations around the city were used in shooting the show. In season 2, reports suggested that most scenes that involved stripping were shot in West Peachtree Cheetah’s club in Atlanta’s Midtown. There were also suggestions that part of the filming was done in Atlanta’s East Point, including the Southwest.
