Americans use wasabi and pickled ginger the wrong way
Whether you pair it with a cocktail, a glass of wine, or any other beverage, sushi offers a flavorful eating experience. The cold, firm fish combined with rice, soy sauce, and other ingredients, such as wasabi and pickled ginger, is genuinely delicious.
Nonetheless, Americans don’t know how to make the best out of this delicious meal. Instead of eating wasabi separately from soy sauce, they mix it together. Regarding pickled ginger, they put it on pieces of sushi instead of using it as a palate cleanser.
