The French dressing in America isn’t the same as the authentic French dressing

There’s no better way to make your salads tastier than adding some French dressing to the dish. While this dressing is orange or red in the US, you’d be surprised to know it doesn’t look the same as the authentic recipe.

In fact, the ingredients are completely different. Authentic French dressing uses olive oil, Dijon mustard, vinegar, garlic, and shallots. The American version is much sweeter and adds tomato to the original recipe. So, if you ask for this dressing in another country, it won’t taste the same.
