Drinks aren’t served with ice outside the US
We’ve talked about American dishes being different in other countries. Still, the food isn’t the only thing that changes when you leave the US. Drinks are served differently in each country. For example, ice in drinks isn’t a thing worldwide.
Unlike in American restaurants, where water and soda are typically served in glasses full of ice, such a practice is considered strange in any other part of the world. You’ll always receive a drink with little to no ice, no matter where you go.
