What better way to enjoy your coffee than pairing it with a croissant? This flaky bread product is part of French cuisine, where people eat it as breakfast. Still, Americans have adapted it to fit their flamboyant tastes and preferences.

People from the US often slice croissants in half and use them as sandwich bread. Don’t expect to find this particular dish outside America, though. Foreigners may even be taken aback if they see you using a croissant this way.
