In the US, many sweets-based businesses, such as ice cream purveyors and candy makers, have a particular take on what the “birthday cake” flavor is. They think of it as the taste of a vanilla-flavored cake with multicolored sprinkles and creamy icing.
However, you won’t find this kind of option anywhere else in the world. It makes sense, though. The American vision of the birthday cake flavor is unique. So, if you travel to another country, you’ll have to settle for another dessert-flavored snack.
