Toilet bowl cleaners could break your bathroom tiles
After you’ve learned that you should avoid powdered cleaners when cleaning the tiles in your bathroom, here’s another product that should stay away from materials such as stone and ceramic. Even if the tiles in your flooring and shower walls are long-lasting, you need to be careful about the chemicals you apply to polish them.
Tiles are held onto the wall by the grout that you see between each stone. This filling paste also protects the undersides of the tiles. If you apply a very acidic material like a toilet bowl cleaner, the grout could break apart, and the tiles could come off the wall.
