Wooden floors aren’t that water-resistant
Having wooden floors gives a home a sophisticated yet cozy look. The main drawback of this stylish material is how difficult it is to clean. If you’re not careful enough with the products you use, they could get completely damaged. For instance, it’s important to know that too much water could make it come apart.
For the same reason that you should pay attention not to drop a cup of water on your wood floors, you shouldn’t drench it. If you do, the boards could bow or become waterlogged and begin to rot. Use only a limited amount, and check that your floor is protected with a coat of polyurethane first.
