Your pasta water could build up on your drain
Here’s a pretty shocking mistake that everyone makes without realizing its potential damage. The most logical thing to do once you’ve placed your pasta on your plate is to pour the water down the sink. But, as you’ve seen before, this way of getting rid of food or beverages can bring adverse consequences.
Though it may seem like the fastest solution, throwing pasta water down your sink can actually lead to it building up on your drains as grease deposits. If you tend to eat this yummy dish frequently, don’t panic. As you did with your unconsumed tea and coffee, you could use starchy water as fertilizer for your garden.
