Towels shouldn’t be stored in the bathroom
While this bad habit is extremely popular, it’s time you stop for a second to think about how unsanitary it is. It seems logical to store your towels in the bathroom so you have them within arm’s reach whenever you take a shower. Still, you should consider keeping them elsewhere for health reasons.
Given that bathrooms are one of the moistest places in your house, towels that are left there could become bacteria incubators. Naturally, nobody wants to dry their bodies with these microorganisms getting all over their skin. A better place to store them could be your hallway closet or bathroom pantry, away from humidity.
