Avoid dust pads and Swiffer mops
Swiffer mops are known for appearing on people’s television screens when they’re unable to sleep at 1 A.M. These are usually advertised by a person smiling from ear to ear while they’re cleaning the floor and magically removing dirt in only a matter of seconds.
What the lady in the TV commercial forgot to mention, though, was how impractical dust pads and Swift mops are when it comes to leaving your living room floor looking spotless. This is because the mop leaves behind a layer of residue that attracts more dust every time you use it.
