Feather dusters aren’t as efficient as they seem
Feather dusters are among the most popular cleaning products on the market. You’ve probably used them to remove the loose superficial dust that has accumulated over and under your bedside table, on the surface of your paintings, and around fragile items such as porcelain house decor objects or glassware.
Still, if you think about it, what you’re actually doing by using this cleaning tool is shifting the accumulated dust from one spot to another. It usually lands on the floor, which means you have to vacuum it later and work twice as hard. Instead, it’s best to use an alternative product to clean the dust in your home.
