Your wooden furniture doesn’t need to be oiled regularly
Applying a coat of oil or wax to your wooden furniture helps prevent the material from cracking. You might have seen pictures of shiny-looking tables and want to achieve the same effect, but, once again, you should be careful about the products you use.
You should only oil or wax your wooden furniture if it appears to be dry. So, if you live in a humid area, it’s better to avoid this, as it most likely won’t be necessary. When used too often or inappropriately, it could lead to greasy buildups.
