Granite countertops shouldn’t be cleaned with vinegar
Granite is a natural stone that’s often cut into thin slabs, polished, and used to fabricate countertops. Homeowners should ensure to cover theirs with sealant to make them more durable. They should also be careful not to spill any juice, oil, or wine over it, as the stains would be impossible to remove.
Above all, if your kitchen has a granite countertop, remember not to clean it with vinegar. This sour-tasting liquid would strip away its shiny sealant finish and, over time, make it look dull. If you want to clean your countertop thoroughly, try using water and soap or a mix of alcohol and water.
