It’s not uncommon for celebrities to branch out into other avenues once they’ve really made it. Whether it be fashion or beauty, we’re seeing celebrity-run brands pop up all the time. While some of them fail, other celebrity brands are surprising Easter Eggs more people need to hear about. Today, we’re here to talk about our favorite celeb-owned skincare and beauty brands – you know, the ones that are really worth your time and money.
Eleven by Venus Williams
Who better to come out with an SPF-based skincare line than Venus Williams? The woman has radiant skin despite all the rays she (literally) faces on the court, not to mention the perspiration she has to deal with. UV rays aren’t great for our faces, as we know, but luckily Williams has come out with a line that’s just as kind to our skin as it is to the planet. What do we mean by this? Well, packaging for these products is made from PCR and recyclable materials whenever possible, and we love that. Right now you can snag sunscreen, sun serum, and lip balm from Williams’ Eleven brand.
Honest Beauty by Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba’s Honest line has come a long way since it began with baby and cleaning products. In fact, among just about anything you could ever want, you can snag all of your beauty and skincare needs. What we love most about this brand is that every product is 100% cruelty-free and recently the company has upped its game by using more sustainable packaging. You can snag anything and everything you need for a great skincare routine as well as any needs your makeup bag may have.
Good Dye Young Semi-Permanent Hair Color by Hayley Williams
Who better to come out with a hair dye line than Hayley Williams? And what’s not to love about this line? It’s semi-permanent so in the event you don’t absolutely love it, you can rest easy knowing it will eventually wash out, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and there are a ton of colors to choose from, you can go bold and bright, pastel, even metal. (Xanax) Just an FYI, your hair will still need to be bleached before you attempt to use this, so if you don’t feel comfortable doing that at home, you’ll want to schedule a trip to the salon!
