Flushable wipes aren’t actually meant to be flushed
Some people prefer using flushable wet wipes as a complement to toilet paper after they’ve relieved themselves. In addition to protecting your skin, these moisturizing wipes provide a comfortable and refreshing cleaning experience. Still, you should know they could cause some long-term issues in your drainage system.
As it turns out, wet wipes aren’t safe to flush down your toilet. Though they’re marketed as such, they can’t fully disintegrate when they come into contact with water, and this could potentially result in clogged plumbing. If they manage to make it past your plumbing, they can end up blocking your local sewage system.
