Awesome Teen Movies
While it is true that every decade had its share of great teen movies, there was an explosion of teen movies in the 80s. This decade produced more teen movies than the previous 40 years combined. We had movies like The Breakfast Club, Porky’s, and Risky Business that starred a young Tom Cruise.
These well-made movies resonated with many teenagers and beautifully captured what it meant to be a teen. With all its successes, we can argue that today, the young control the movie industry because of the teen movies of the 80s.
