We Rocked Ridiculously Freakish Perms
The perm has become synonymous with the 80s because it was popularized in that decade. Thanks to Cher and Bon Jon Bovi, there was a perm explosion from the cool to the ridiculous during that decade.
Even as we look at our 80s pictures with embarrassment, we should celebrate our creativity and the boldness when we stepped out in our perms. It should not surprise anyone that the perm makes intermittent comebacks every now and then.
