Twilight is just a Watered Down Version of The Lost Boys
While this modern generation has some decent vampire shows like “Vampire Diaries” and “True Blood,” we had “The Lost Boys.” That should be enough to make my point, but I will elaborate anyway.
One of the more recent vampire sagas, “Twilight,” messed up the whole vampire narrative that it’s embarrassing. It featured a vegetarian vampire. How ridiculous is that! Or how do we explain a vampire glistening in the sunlight! Worse, the Twilight vampires can’t fly, they can only jump. What kind of a lame excuse for a superpower is that! They are basically like squirrels compared to the eagles that are the vampires of the Lost Boys. In the Lost Boys, we saw vampires depicted as what they really are: predatory, bloodthirsty, and super-powered!
