No Internet — and It Was Still Great
While some would swear that life without the internet was better, I wouldn’t go that far. There’s no arguing that the advent of the Internet has brought a whole new level of advancement in every area of human endeavor.
But this is a remarkable fact that is often overlooked: we didn’t have the Internet in the 80s; we couldn’t send text messages; we couldn’t chat using social media; we didn’t navigate using Google Maps, but we did manage to develop a very close-knit community and relationships. Because of the Internet’s integral role in our lives, newer generations find it hard to believe we grew up without it.
