Drinks Came in Glasses
Regardless of what drink it was, soda, milk, or Corona pop, it came in glass bottles. Packaging drinks in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles (as is commonly done today) was not only eco-friendly, but it preserved the taste of the drinks and was less harmful to our bodies.
It is a well-established fact that chemicals from plastic are carcinogenic, and they seep into the drinks they hold, especially when the plastic container gets hot. This also ruins the drink’s taste. Additionally, plastic bottles are not biodegradable and now contribute to waste that is ruining the land and causing damage to marine life. Perhaps it’s time we took it back to the past and packaged our drinks in reusable glass bottles.
