The 80s featured some of the most gruesome, ghoulish, and gory horror movies. The effect of those movies did not quickly wear off as you’d be left wondering who (or what) might be lurking under your bed or in your closet.
Classics like “The Shining,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” and “Poltergeist” delivered unforgettable scares and even left us with timeless catchphrases like “They’re here” from Poltergeist.
