This one is probably one of those phrases Americans use without even knowing it. They use ‘real quick’ every time they have to gesture for a short period. We’re pretty sure every American reading this would find themselves saying it a lot every now and then.

They also use ‘minute’ to often gesture for a long span of time. We all have heard someone say, “I haven’t seen you in a minute,” which sounds okay but thinking about it for a while makes it seem so stupid. Like calm down George, I just went to the kitchen to have some water.
