Ice machines and ice in general are exclusive to America
It’s funny how Americans probably don’t even look at a drink with no ice, but most of the world is pretty alien to the concept of ice machines. You can find one in almost every American restaurant or household because beverages feel incomplete without ice. However, in most other countries, they either serve ice straight into the beverage, or you’ll have to ask for it separately.
The chances of finding an ice machine in other countries are nonexistent because while European countries hardly need to use ice with every cold drink, other developing countries don’t even know there are machines dedicated to dispensing these frozen cubes! If you’re an American and planning to move to another country, this is something that you’ll struggle with for sure.
