Healthcare means sacrificing your health or salary
The fact that medical care in America is ridiculously expensive is not unheard of. Getting diagnosed with even minor diseases and a regular consultation visit could cost you much above what you would consider worth it.
The result? For most average households, medical care in America is no less than a luxury. It seems outrageously inhumane, while other countries are constantly working on making healthcare more accessible. For example, Denmark and Canada have made healthcare free for the most part.
