Would you trust an absolute stranger with your credit card while you sit there enjoying your meal and going on your phone? While this might seem the dumbest and the last thing you’d ever do, it is a common sight in most American restaurants.

The waiter usually takes your card and handles the payment while you’d probably be panicking, wondering what if they charged wrong or if I get a notice from my credit card company that I’m way above my credit limit? Seems like people trust the staff there pretty well!
