A common greeting is only common in America
While accents and pronunciations vary significantly from person to person as you visit different states in the United States, one thing you’ll find constant is the excessive use of the word “y’all.”
Used when one wants to say “you all” as slang, you won’t find a lot of people outside America using this phrase. It’s amazing how Americans can compress an entire phrase into a single abbreviated word, and the other person will still understand them. Y’all’ve guessed what we are talking about by now, have you?
