Another one for the classic Perfectionists vs. Creatives debate. If you are a student and have to prepare meals on a budget, ditch the “That doesn’t go in the recipe, so I won’t use it” mentality. Many ingredients might not be used in traditional recipes, but that doesn’t mean they don’t sit well in the recipe.
Now we aren’t suggesting you go as berserk and combine chocolates and chicken. You can take extra produce you find in the kitchen and spice up a meal. This will save a lot of vegetables in your refrigerator from going bad because you never used them.
