Ring in the New Year at Home With These Festive Cocktails

We’ve almost made it through the holiday season, but not without ringing in the new year first! 2021 is almost outta here, and while we’re not claiming 2022 will be our year (because we’ve tried that the last couple of years, and all we’ve gotten is more unprecedented times) we are still excited to hello to a fresh start! While some of us may feel comfortable heading out for a good New Year’s bash, a lot of us will be rining in 2022 from the comfort of our homes, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a fine cocktail. We’ve put together a small list of our favorite cocktails to shake up New Year’s Eve!

Sparkling Pear French 75

If you tend to go for light, refreshing, and sparkling cocktails, then this one is calling your name. Especially if you’re already a fan of French 75, you’ll fall head over heels with the pear version. Because of how crisp and light this cocktail is, it pairs nicely with pretty much anything you would find on a charcuterie board and we are all about that. All you need is your favorite gin, pear liqueur, your favorite champagne, lemon juice, sugar, and fresh pears. Get the recipe here

Creamy Coconut White Russian

We LOVE a good White Russian at really any point during the winter, and this creamy coconut White Russian somehow contains every delicious holiday flavor; you’ve got cinnamon, vanilla, a hint of coffee, and of course, coconut. This version of a White Russian is perfect for any evening you prefer to drink your dessert, but we especially love serving them up at New Year’s! To make this cocktail you’ll need your preferred vodka, coconut rum, Kahlua (we’re drooling already), vanilla syrup (to make this you’ll need honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon), and full-fat coconut milk or cream. Pomegranate Champagne Mules

Admittedly, what we love most about a Moscow Mule is the copper vessel you simply must serve it in, but the drink itself isn’t half bad. We especially love this festive twist on the classic Moscow Mule which combines the flavors of winter citrus, pomegranate juice, ginger, and a splash of vodka, topped off with ginger beer, bubbly, and a sprig of sugared rosemary. Salted Caramel Iced Coffee Cocktail

If you struggle to make it to midnight on New Year’s Eve, then a cocktail with a caffeine kick may be just what you need! This Salted Caramel Iced Coffee cocktail combines two of our favorite beverages: iced coffee and whiskey. All you need to make this deliciousness is your favorite coffee, some Jackson Morgan salted caramel and caramel sauce. If you want to get a little bougie (and why not?) we highly recommend decorating the rim of your glasses with some sugar sprinkles to give your cocktail a little sparkle. Get the full recipe here!
