Garlic should be cooked last
Garlic is an essential ingredient available in every kitchen. The intense aroma and flavor it adds to all the dishes are why we wouldn’t mind having bad breath after a nice garlicky dinner.
However, many people will be shocked to know they’ve been cooking something as basic as garlic wrong all this time. As the garlic gets more charred, the cloves’ taste and texture become progressively foul and bitter. Unless some recipe specifically requires you to char the garlic, it is advised to use it during the later stages of sautéing and cooking.
