Removing the tails
Even the fanciest restaurants have been guilty of this. You order an expensive dish and expect it to be a calm, succulent dining experience when suddenly you realize that the kitchen staff hasn’t even bothered to tail the shrimp before cooking it.
Now everybody’s eyes are on you as you slay the tails of the poor shrimps as you fish them out of your soup or pasta. The staff’s excuse? That they make the dish tastier. We would prefer relaxed and convenient dining over playing tug of war with a shrimp’s tail.
