The war over pronunciations
There can’t be a more confusing word than this. We’ve met a lot of people, and all of them have their own way of pronouncing ‘pecan.’ We aren’t even sure some of them make any sense at all. Actually, after thinking about it, none of them do.
This one probably won’t even divide people into two groups, those in favor and those against; there are so many ways to pronounce it that none seems correct. But we assure you we’ll reach the correct one if we dig deep enough. How do you pronounce it?
