The OBGYN was very proud of his children
Going to the OBGYN is not a fun thing to do. Having an overly friendly gynecologist does not necessarily make it better. Sharing too many personal details can, at times, make others uncomfortable. What is more, sometimes, you just want to get your check-up and go home, and wasting time looking at pictures of other people’s children can be annoying.
Physicians, in particular, should avoid making their patients feel anything but safe. Nevertheless, a doctor who talks about his family is not always wrong. It is a show of trust and can make others feel at ease. However, doing the same thing during every appointment can get old fast. Unfortunately for this woman, her gynecologist did not seem to take the hint.
