There aren’t many things worse than having to work on a holiday. Except maybe getting a life-threatening infection on holiday. Thankfully, hospitals will always be open to treating those with a medical emergency, no matter what day it is. This Twitter user was lucky enough to be rushed to the hospital on time. However, they were not fortunate enough to avoid dealing with a mouthy intern.
The intern may have tried to make the occasion festive, but this person was not having it. Then again, you definitely wouldn’t be having the best time of your life if you were in the hospital with appendicitis, either. The positive thing is that this experience will eventually become just a funny anecdote. So keep in mind: if you feel poorly, go to the doctor, on Christmas, or any other holiday.
