This funny coincidence is a matter of probability. The first name “James” is pretty standard, so no surprise there. As for the surname, it is not the rarest either. There are so many name combinations across the world that it is possible that there would be someone who shared a name with fiction’s most famous secret agent.
Imagine if he were a secret agent on the side. The question is, would he have the time to do both? Probably not. Although this surgeon will not be fouling any evil plots or drinking shaken martinis, he is still impressive. Operating on a wrist is a pretty big deal. Besides, we bet you would rather have Dr. James Bond operating on you than the secret agent.
