The anesthesiologist with the most ironic name
The use of anesthesia during certain procedures is one of modern medicine’s most significant advances. It serves many different purposes that make operations safer and less damaging for those who need to undergo any surgical procedure. The primary purpose of using anesthesia is to avoid a subject feeling pain while the doctors do what they need to do.
Oh, the irony of having an anesthesiologist called Dr. Pain when he is the one who is supposed to make sure you are not in pain. Why would someone named “Pain” decide to be an anesthesiologist? He had to be aware of how contradicting it would be.
