You would expect a doctor who went to medical school to learn all about modern medicine in detail, to believe in what he was taught. This is why it can be unsettling to hear him criticize the same system he is a part of. It is also very bizarre. Why did he go through all those years of medical training then?
An MD who is against modern medicine. Yes, you read that correctly. Although some people might find alternative medicine useful in some cases, no one should depend on it exclusively. Going to a doctor in medicine with a proper license is essential. So if your MD refers to Western medicine as “evil,” you might want to get a second opinion.
