Technology has brought about changes in all professions. Phones with internet access and specialized apps can make taking care of your health a lot easier. It can make life easier for doctors and even aid them in making diagnoses. That being said, medicine is one of those fields that still requires a human element.
Having a doctor diagnose them through an app was not a pleasant experience for this Twitter user. As most of us would, they expected the MD to be able to tell them more about their symptoms than the internet would. If they had known their phone could tell them what their issue was; they would have downloaded the app themselves and stayed home.
