Roland McDonald’s memorable gang
Before his retirement in 2016, Ronald McDonald had a crew of supporting characters. They were pretty charismatic and helped him make the restaurant appealing to children of all ages. All ’80s and ’90s kids remember the Fry Guys, Birdie, Grimace, and Hamburglar with a smile.
Unfortunately, the gang was disbanded when Golden Arches pushed the new “I’m Lovin’ It” campaign. The fast-food chain says that the crew’s job was done after they managed to catch Hamburglar. Still, it’s a shame that modern children will never get to enjoy their adventures.
