McDonald’s Has Changed A Lot, And These Old Photos Show It

There was a floating McDonald’s in Vancouver back in the day

We’re used to seeing dozens of McDonald’s restaurants on the streets, but not many of us have had the chance to know this Golden Arches ship. It was called the “McBarge” and stayed afloat in Vancouver for at least five years.

Unfortunately, the floating fast-food restaurant became a victim of treacherous waters and trespassing in the ’90s. So, McDonald’s decided to close it down. Nowadays, the McBarge is anchored in a port in British Columbia, and you see the decrepit building from the coast.
