A hamburger jail for kids that misbehave
Since McDonald’s is a family-friendly restaurant, there were many playground games outside the building. Some of them were more memorable than others, though. We think every kid remembers Hamburglar with Bars, or the hamburger jail, as parents used to call it.
Perhaps there was a hidden message in this playground game. Eating hamburgers as often as people did was a sort of prison sentence if you think about it. Those meals weren’t healthy, and people willingly consumed them without realizing they were harming their bodies.
