There were Garfield mugs as Happy Meal gifts
Garfield was a pretty popular character back in the ’80s. Everyone enjoyed his sarcastic remarks and his twisted sense of humor. We remember reading his comic strips and watching his cartoons, but we don’t recall much about the show’s storyline.
Since the orange cat was loved by many, McDonald’s designed some neat Garfield mugs with sarcastic quotes. The printings on the cups were made by Garfield’s original cartoonist, Jim Davis. In our opinion, they were a great way to promote the lazy cat’s show.
