McDonald’s had super long spoons
Honestly, we don’t recall seeing these overly long spoons at McDonald’s. However, they were a huge deal back when they were still in production. Most people would use these skinny utensils to pour sugar into their morning coffee or get the final bits of their McFlurry.
While the long spoons were practical, the fast-food chain decided to discontinue them in the ’80s. Apparently, some individuals used them for questionable acts that Golden Arches disapproved of. No family-friendly company wants to be associated with illegal practices, after all.
