Old McDonald’s drive-thrus
McDonald’s wasn’t always a fast-food restaurant. A few decades ago, they didn’t have classy diners for burger lovers. Golden Arches focused on drive-thru service, which meant you had to order at a window and wait for your food in the car.
There weren’t even playgrounds for kids back then. Parents took their children to McDonald’s for the food and nothing else. However, as time went by, the fast-food chain’s management realized that they could do more than drive-thrus. And the rest is history.
