There are some things we don’t wanna see
This should actually be a general rule of thumb: never mess with someone else’s stuff without their permission. Roommates share their stuff every now and then, but that can sometimes lead to unhealthy boundary management. It’s best to respect your roommate’s possessions from a safe distance away.
People use their laptops for their work, entertainment, and whatnot. This should be a given, but roommates shouldn’t mess with each others’ laptops, even if they the other person wouldn’t really mind. There could be stuff on that laptop that is not meant for your eyes. Don’t blame us that we didn’t warn you.
